EFFIE Awards Ukraine 2011 - Call for Entries open

International competition of marketing and advertising effectiveness EFFIE Awards Ukraine Organizing Committee will start in Ukraine in sixth time.

Effie Ukraine Awards is strictly regulated by Effie Worldwide standards, so there are no changes in procedure of registration and evaluation. The main difference of Effie Award this year will be the formation of short-list after the first round of judging. List of finalists will make from campaigns, which get 50 points or more in the first round. Each campaign will be evaluated no less than 7 members of the jury. During first round of the competition jury will evaluate entries without creative materials. During second round jury will evaluate both marketing and creative materials.

For the Effie Awards Ukraine 2011 are accepted all projects, which has been created not earlier then 2009 and showed their effectiveness in 2010-2011 (except campaigns, which took part in Effie Awards Ukraine 2010).

Campaigns, which have been developed by several agencies (advertising, media companies etc.), may be submitted only once, indicating all agencies involved in development. To participate is necessary to fill entry form in three languages and send to Organizing Committee hard copy and e-form. The entry shall include up to six examples of creative materials and/or video presentation for up to 4 minutes.

Deadline for entries is 21 of October. Organizing Committee strong recommends not delaying the preparation of entries, as the main guarantee of success is the thoroughness and professionalism in preparation entry to participation.
2nd of December will be held Award Ceremony (Effie Gala) and The International Conference of effective advertising and marketing communications Effie. Ideas that worked.

Effie Ukraine Awards is the most prestigious award in marketing which reflects the combination of strategy, creativity and effectiveness of communications. Effie Awards was established in 1968 and now have presented in more than 40 countries all over the world. In Ukraine competition had started in 2006 and based on exclusive license of New York American Marketing Association (Effie Worldwide). Effie’s main difference from similar events is judging process. Jury evaluates not only creativity of, but effectiveness of advertising campaigns: sales, market share, brand recognition and brand value.
