This year, the awards launch under a powerful new slogan: “Marketing with real power! Far from just a creative concept, this is a call to action for the entire industry.

Just as athletes flex their hard-earned muscles on the field, marketers and agencies prove their strength through measurable results. We show our muscle by overcoming volatile market challenges, rewriting the rules of the game with bold strategies, and driving business growth against all odds.

An Effie cannot be won on a pretty idea alone. This stage evaluates the true power of marketing in action: how sharply the challenge was defined, how effectively insights were unlocked, and how undeniable the results proved to be.

For 58 years, Effie has been driving the global standard of marketing effectiveness, today bringing together over 125 markets through 60 international programs. Every year, Ukrainian case studies proudly write themselves into this global success story.

• Eligibility Period: Campaigns running in Ukraine anytime between January 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, are eligible. For the Sustained Success category, the campaign must have launched on or before August 31, 2023.
• The First Deadline: July 15, 2026.
• The Program Layout: This year's program features 100 categories – 40 Industry and 60 Special categories. While Industry categories track effectiveness within specific product and service sectors, Special categories zero in on targeted business objectives and market challenges.

The 2026 program has been sharply updated with revised category definitions and streamlined thematic blocks to ensure every case study finds its perfect fit.

A major addition this year is the International Marketing category. It is specifically designed for campaigns executed in foreign markets that successfully drove core business KPIs – such as sales, financial growth, or market share – back home in Ukraine.

The organizers strongly encourage participants to look closely at category alignment, framing their case studies strictly through the lens of the specific industry or business challenge defined by that category.

The creative concept for Effie Awards Ukraine 2026 was developed by BetterSvit, the awards' long-standing creative partner.

Following the competition, the final scores will shape the national effectiveness rankings for communication and media agencies, advertising holding groups, brands, and advertisers. These results will feed into the global Effie Index, while also determining the prestigious Agency of the Year and Best Marketing Teams titles.
