Taking part in the Effie Awards Ukraine 2026 offers an opportunity to gain professional recognition, as well as a chance to feature in the National Effectiveness Rankings and be included in the global ranking, the Effie Index. It is the results of participation in the competition that form the basis for compiling these rankings.

As is traditional, the results of the Effie Awards Ukraine 2026 will be used to determine the National Effectiveness Rankings for participants in Ukraine’s advertising and communications industry.

The list will include all companies and agencies whose projects become finalists or winners of the Effie Awards Ukraine 2026. The results of the competition will automatically form the basis for calculating the National Effectiveness Rankings.

Based on the competition results, effectiveness rankings will be compiled for:

• communications agencies;
• media agencies;
• communications holding companies;
• marketers;
• brands.

The National Rankings are compiled in accordance with the international methodology of the Effie Index. Points are awarded for each project that becomes a finalist or receives an Effie Awards Ukraine award, depending on the result achieved. Information about agencies, brands and marketers provided in the entries is also forwarded to Effie Worldwide and taken into account when compiling the Effie Index — a global ranking of marketing effectiveness that identifies the world’s most effective agencies, brands, marketers and communications holding companies.

Separately, the results of Ukrainian communications agencies’ participation in international Effie programmes are tallied. These achievements are announced separately and are not included in the National Effectiveness Ranking.

In addition to the National Effectiveness Rankings, the results of the Effie Awards Ukraine 2026 will be taken into account when determining the country’s best marketing teams as part of the Best Marketing Teams ranking, and the winners of the titles ‘Communications Agency of the Year 2026’ and ‘Media Agency of the Year 2026’ will also be announced; these are determined based on the results of the National Creativity and Effectiveness Rankings.
