Effie Awards Ukraine, the most prestigious award in the field of marketing communications, has been keeping the benchmark of effectiveness in Ukraine for 20 years, recognizing the most effective campaigns.

For two decades, the Ukrainian advertising and communications market has identified and honored the most successful national marketing communication campaigns. As the organizer of the award, the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition consistently ensures that the submission process and rules adhere to the international standards set by Effie Worldwide.

This anniversary year comes with a number of important updates to the competition program. Notably, for the first time, entries must be submitted exclusively through the Acclaim online portal – effie-ukraine.acclaimworks.com. Starting this year, all text answers in entry forms must be completed in Ukrainian. English translation is still required only for creative materials – video cases and images.

The contest categories have also been revised. Several nominations have been refined and expanded. In total, there are 40 industry (product/service) categories and 53 specialty categories covering a wide range of business challenges.

Eligible projects must have been implemented in Ukraine between January 1, 2024, and October 1, 2025. For the Sustained Success category, the period starts from January 1, 2022, or earlier.

There are three entry deadlines for Effie Awards Ukraine 2025:

• I Deadline – July 15
• II Deadline – August 31
• III Deadline – September 30

Judging will take place in three rounds:

• Round I – October 20-24
• Round II – November 3-7
• Grand Jury – November 13

The Effie Awards Ukraine 2025 winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and the Best Marketing Practices conference on November 28, 2025.

The creative campaign for Effie Awards Ukraine 2025 was developed by BetterSvit, a long-time partner of the program.

Based on the contest results, the National Ranking of Communication and Media Agencies, Communications Groups, and the most effective brands and advertisers in Ukraine will be compiled. The results will also be included in the Effie Index 2025 and the global Effie Case database.
