Gold and Grand winners of Effie Awards Ukraine 2019 are invited to participate in Global Best of the Best Effie Awards 2020 and Best of Europe of Effie Awards Europe 2020.

Global Best of the Best Effie Awards 2020

Effie Worldwide, the marketing industry’s pre-eminent effectiveness organization and organizer of the Effie Awards, launches the inaugural Global Best of the Best Effie Awards, crowning the world’s most effective marketing efforts.

The 2020 Global Best of the Best Effie Awards is open to all 2019 Gold & Grand Effie winners from Effie’s regional and national programs. These previous winners now have the opportunity to compete at a global level, honoring ’the best of the best’ in marketing effectiveness worldwide including the ultimate recognition - the Global Grand Effie Award.

Two rounds of rigorous judging will determine finalists and winners in 20+ entry categories from Automotive to Finance and Data-Driven to Positive Change. A Grand Jury will then convene to select one supreme winner of the Global Grand Effie Award. Entries will be judged by a jury comprised of leading marketers from the world’s brightest and best agencies, brands, media and technology companies.  

Entry deadline is 5 May 2020. The winners will be announced in September 2020 in London.

Effie Awards Europe 2020

The Effie Awards Europe have announced the call for entries for the 2020 competition.

In this year’s competition, beside the existing standard/multi-market categories, the Effie Awards Europe have introduced Best of Europe, that will be open for entries on 6 April. In this competition, we welcome Gold Winners of Effie Awards Ukraine 2019.

The entrants may enter each case into a maximum of four categories. This can be one Product/Service category and three special categories, or four special categories. A full list of categories and category definitions are available on effie-europe.com.

Judging takes place in two rounds. Round 1 is conducted solely online and takes into consideration the effectiveness based on the challenge, context & objectives, insigths & strategic idea, bringing the idea to life and results. Round 2 takes place in Brussels, where the Jury meets to evaluate the finalists' cases, including the creative material.

The final closing date for standard categories is on Friday, 22 May 2020 and Friday, 31 July 2020 for Best of Europe competition. Winners will be officially announced at the Awards Gala in Brussels on 13 October 2020.
