The contest for the title of the most effective at Ukrainian marketing and advertising market has begun! The entry submission of the Effie Awards Ukraine 2023 is now open. The first deadline is on June 30.

All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, as the organizer of Effie Awards Ukraine, every year carefully implements all changes required by the Effie Worldwide at the national level – and this applies to everything: updated brand book, rules and procedures for entry submissions, the introduction of new contest categories, limits of contest entries for one campaign, etc.

Therefore, in the new season, the participants are expecting some updates.

ENTRY FORMS

This year there are three separate entry forms:

• Standard Entry Form for Industry and Specialty Categories (except Sustained Success and Performance Marketing)

• Sustained Success Entry Form for Sustained Success Category

• Performance Marketing Entry Form for Performance Marketing Category

CONTEST CATEGORIES

The contest program consists of 81 categories – 34 Industry and 47 Specialty categories.

The block of Specialty categories is divided into sections focused on solving a specific business situation or challenge: Audience; Brand Content, Entertainment, & Experiential Marketing; Business Achievement & Challenge; Commerce & Shopper; Digital; Media; Marketing Innovation Solutions; Positive Change; Topical & Annual events.

The list of contest categories has expanded and new categories have been added:

·       Sponsorships

·       Category/Aisle Evolution

·       Challenger Brand Solution

·       Experiential Shopper Marketing

·       Business/Product/Service Innovation

·       Customer Experience

·       Positive Change – Social Good: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

·       Positive Change – Social Good: PEACE

CONTEST PERIOD

This year we have increased the eligibility period: 1 January 2021 – 30 September 2023. We include the period of edition 2022 when Effie Awards Ukraine was suspended. All marketing efforts that run at any point between 1 January 2021 - 23 February 2022 will be evaluated separately from those marketing cases that ran after the full-scale invasion.
