Effie Awards Ukraine added new categories to the contest program 2020 to better represent the marketing and business challenges that marketers and agencies are overcoming.
Effie program in Ukraine has broadened categories this year that expand a focus to business ideas, meet global/local challenges, and focus more deeply on effective innovative idea and on projects with social core.
In contest program 2020 there are 11 new specialty categories such as:
According to international requirements of Effie Worldwide Long-term Effectiveness category was updated and was named Sustained Success category. Products or service communications efforts that have experienced sustained success for more than 3 years are eligible for entry. Entries must have a common objective in both strategy and creative executions; with a continuation of core executional elements (e.g., spokesperson, song, theme, tagline, etc.) that demonstrates effectiveness over time.
This year in the contest program we have new categories — Positive Change. The categories reward and celebrate the brands and non-profits that are promoting the greater good through marketing communications. The program has two tracks – Environmental and Social Good.
The campaigns that were ran in response to COVID-19 and were realized during the coronavirus crisis in period from March to May 2020 can be submitted to new category – Campaigns during COVID-19 in Ukraine. As well efforts that ran during COVID-19 period can be submitted into one of the Specialty Categories: Seasonal Marketing, Marketing Disruptors, PR & Corporate Reputation, Topical Marketing (Current Events), or Positive Change.
The updated list of categories can be founded in the section "Categories". One and the same campaign can be entered into a maximum of 4 categories, with no more than 1 product/service category.
The first entry deadline will be on September, 1.
